Bobby Worrest interview

This interview is probably my all time favorite. It was originally for online magazine content, but after seeing that Bobby didn't have much to say upon reviewing the e-mail, I decided I'd throw it on the blog. With no sarcasm intended, I like Bobby's humor. The way that he answered all 17 questions on his iPhone with total wit just made me chuckle. Should I have asked for a phone interview to get full details? Probably. But this one makes for a good read. Also, be on the lookout for Bobby's new pro shoe for Jordan. Enjoy.

What’s the worst part about winter time in Washington DC? Getting people to skate... The cold.  Its been cold and windy. I bought a 1 way to sf .  Gonna hopefully be out there for an unknown amount of time

It seems like when winter hits, you end up at the bar (according to your instagram/twitter). Any personal favorite bars around DC that you’d like to mention? Haha. Ya been kinda shitty.  Breadsoda mostly. Steve teague owns it. And weve been fucking with motorcycles out back

Are you skating Pulaski daily? Who are you skating with there? Cant skate there now.  Either cops are already there when i show up. Cor we skate for 10 minutes an they chase us out.  Its all cuz of that bullshit "occupy" crap.

Is that spot becoming more or less of a bust? Fuck the occupyers.

Speaking of skating, the last part you put out was the “Bobby vs. The Edgar” edit. It was probably my favorite part of 2011. How long did it take you to film it and would you say it’s your best part yet? Well thank you.  Filmed less than a year or something.  I dunno it was just another part. Maybe tried to make it a little different than other parts.  I don’t know

How long did the feeble down that kinked rail take? Between 1 and a hundred.  I dunno. 20 min?

Moving on to the eS dilemma. What’s going on over there? When are things coming to an end? Over

What’s it like being a part of their program for so long, and then finding out that you’re going to have to move on? A bit trippy.  It was time for a change

Do you have any other shoe sponsors in mind? Team jordan

You competed in Maloof back in 2011, is that something you’re going to take up in 2012- big contest skating? Are you for or against big contests? Ex. Street League, Maloof and Dew Tour. No comment

Random, but how do you feel about this Berrics fad as a whole? I watch bangin sometimes.  But they’re cool

Do you think you’ll ever move out west? You’d be closer to Deluxe and would be able to skate comfortably year-round. Tuesday the 24 of jan....indefinitely

What’s the best part about having Mark Gonzales in charge of Krooked? The king?
